Amari and the Great Game

Hey guys! I haven’t posted in forever, I’m sorry. Unfortunately, I am home with a little cold today, so I thought now would be the perfect time to do a little post. So, if this book sounds familiar to you, that is because this is the sequel to Amari and the Night Brother, which is currently on my shelf. My mom got me this book, and it took me quite a while to get around to reading it. I really liked it, and I hope you guys enjoy it too. Let’s dive into it.

  1. Amari and the Great Game

B. B. Alston

So, there will be spoilers. I’m just putting this out there. Not from this book (that goes against all tradition), but from the first book. So definitely don’t read this post, if you haven’t read the first book, because you will be confused. Also, I think I’m going to leave off a bit more for the book, and let you guys find out a little bit for yourself. Amari is going on a field trip. She is going with her best friend Elsie, who is a were-dragon, and it is the last day before summer break. This is also their last day before going to the Bureau. Suddenly, all the power goes out, and everything freezes. It was only a few minutes, and then everything is back to normal. But, Amari gets an email from the Bureau , and it says that she has been banned from going to the Bureau for training this summer. Amari is very confused, and she tries to check her Eurg account to see what is going on. She checks, only to find that the Bureau has disbanded her from the Othernet, and all of the supernatural world. It turns out that the time freeze broke off for the rest of the world, but it happened during a Supernatural Congress Meeting, and all of the Congress members are still frozen. Plus, Elsie gets an email saying that she got into Oxford to study there next year. Amari is happy, but she is also really sad. This will be her last summer with Elsie, and Amari can’t even go to training. Now, I think I will leave it as sort of a cliff hanger to entice you guys into reading the actual book.

So, that’s it for this post. I hope you guys liked it. I will definitely try to be more frequent. Remember, get the Amari and the Night Brothers book first, because it is the first book in the series. There will be a picture below. See you next time. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
