OMG!!!! I’m so excited! I have been waiting for so long to be able to do this! I’m sure a lot of you have read, or at least have watched the movies. f you haven’t read this series, then this review will hopefully make you want to read Harry Potter!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

A lot of my reader’s live in America, so I’m going to say that there are two names for the first Harry Potter book. There’s The Philosopher’s Stone, and the Sorcerer’s Stone. They’re the EXACT same thing. Anyways, this wasn’t my favorite Harry Potter book. It’s one of the shortest, and the plot wasn’t amazing, but it’s Harry Potter, and I’m a big Harry Potter nerd, so I’ll just introduce you to the character’s and the plot. So, there’s this dude named Harry. He lives with his aunt and uncle and fat cousin, and is kind of abused by them. But then, Harry gets all of these letters, from OWLS, and his uncle keeps being shady, and hiding them from Harry. Finally, Harry’s uncle, (who, btw, is called Mr. Dursley) takes Harry, Mrs. Dursley and Dudley (the fat cousin) to this abandoned shack on a mountain. They were all going to bed, when this giant, literally, he’s a giant, rumbled into the room and tells Harry he’s a wizard. Then, he basically captures Harry, but in a friendly way, and takes him to this street in London, (England, not Ontario) where all the wizards shop. Then he’s sent to this school in a train. That school is probably the most famous landmark from all of Harry Potter. It’s named Hogwarts. When there, he meets two people in his year, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Now you know all the people and the landmarks, And, the giant’s name is Hagrid. The main teachers are: Albus Dumbledore, the principal, Minerva McGonagall, the VP, Argus Filch, the evil caretaker, Rubeus Hagrid, gatekeeper, Quirinus Quirrell, the Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher (who is really important, and also not that the Defense Against the Dark Arts position changes a lot soooo) Whoa, I wrote a lot. I guess you guys will be reading for quite a while.

I wanted to only do this series by book, because the books are really heavy and I really don’t want to spoil the series for you guys. Anywas, that’s it for this post so byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
