So, I don’t know if you guys need to re-read this or something, but ’cause I switched to WordPress I’m just re-posting (is that a word?) all of my old ones.
- Beasts and Beauty: Dangerous Tale

Soman Chainani
So this book is #1 for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that this book respins fairytales so well. When I read this book, it felt like it was made for me. I feel like these stories were made for me. they understand me. They reflect me. The second reason is the illustrations. I feel like they just capture the essence of the stories perfectly. They’re abstract and yet realistic at the same time. And finally, I love these stories because they’re just never what you thought they would be. You think that you =know Snow White, Cinderella, and Peter Pan. But these stories make you think twice. Overall, I would rate this book a 9/10.

2. A Tale of Sorcery
Chris Colfer
A Tale of Sorcery hits me on all the right levels. It just has so many twists and turns and it’s just keeps you so enthralled. I absolutely loved this book. Between dragons, and skeleton warriors, and Immortals, this book has all the excitement that you would need for a century. It also made me, like, legit, cry because part of the story was based on Colfer’s own life. Like honestly, Colfer, why did you have to put me throught that agony? Anyways, I’d love to tell you why, but this is a strictly NO-SPOILERS blog. I would rate this book an 8/10.
3. Amari and the Night Brothers

B. B. Alston
This book is freaking AWESOME!!! It combines magic and reality, and makes it so realistic that you feel as if your’e really there. Amari and the Night Brothers centres a black girl living in the not-so-good part of the neighbourhood.
One day she gets a delivery from a mysterious man who tells her that her brother, who recently went missing, nominated her to work at his job, which he never told anybody about. she goes and she gets to stay there for the whole summer. Amari hopes to make a good impression, but ends up getting on the bad side of her dorm captain. This book is amazing for anybody who’s into Percy Jackson, or things like that. Overall, I would rate this book an 8/10.
4. Kristy and the Snobs

Chan Chau
Kristy and the Snobs is a perfect interpretation of moving to a new neighbourhood. Kristy feels outclassed by the rich snobs in her neighbourhood.
She feels as though even their pets are outclassing her! Kristy also misses her old friends. She doesn’t like her new step-father, and worst of all the snobs in her neighbourhood laugh at her dog Louie. Louie is getting older and has arthritis. In case you didn’t get it, the kids in Kristy’s nieghbourhood are annoying, in all-caps! Also, anybody who has been keeping up withthe BSC graphic novels, there’s a new illustrator! This book really represents what it’s like to move to a new neighbourhood. Overall, I would rate this book an 8/10.

5. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Big Shot
Jeff Kinney
Sooooo………. this is the last review. We’ve made it this far. Honestly, I’m getting abit emotional. JK! ANYways for any fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid this book was a big deal. I mean it’s literally the 16th book! This book was really good. Like the plot line was just awesome. However, I felt like the drawings were somewhat different. IDK, if that’s just me, but it kinda annoyed me. But, I do LOVE the cover. It’s way different from the other ones. You know when I comment on the cover, I’m kinda lost for words. To wrap this up, this book was really good. I’d rate it a 7/10.
So, I guess this is the end. My first post. This is kind of nice. I hope you guys check out my blog again! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
